Big-box retailers don't do REST — they do EDI. SPS Commerce translates EDI 850 / 855 / 856 / 810 into HTTP and back, and this integration lets Distribu speak their API. You sell to Walmart; SPS handles the translation; Distribu stays the one place you look.

- EDI 855 (PO ack) sent on order confirmation
- EDI 856 (ASN / shipment notice) sent on SHIPPED
- EDI 810 (invoice) sent on paid
